18th Matching in Practice workshop
May 15, 2023 - May 16, 2023
We are happy to announce the 18th Matching in Practice workshop. The break between workshops has been longer than we anticipated, but we hope that this workshop will mark the restart of more regular meetings and that we can continue to learn from each other and engage in productive discussions about the latest developments in matching theory and practice.
The workshop will take place in Lausanne on May 15 and 16. This is a great time to visit Lausanne, so we hope to see many of you and enjoy a long-awaited reunion. If you travel by plane, the easiest way to travel to Lausanne is to fly to Geneva or Zurich, and then it is 50 minute and 2,5 hours direct train, respectively. There are great direct connections by train (around 4 hours) from Paris and Milan.
We are happy to have Olivier Tercieux as our plenary speaker.
The topic of the round table discussion will be announced later.
The deadline for submitting a paper is March 10.
Rustamdjan Hakimov and Renke Schmacker will be the local organizers. The scientific committee will consist of them + Alex Nesterov (previous workshop organizer) and Caterina and Peter as executive committee members.
We will reimburse the cost of the travel and accommodation for all presenters. As usual, we are also happy to welcome non-presenting members.
Please share this call with those who might be interested.
Send your submissions directly to Rustam: rustamdjan.hakimov@unil.ch
